Taughannock Falls State Park
Taughannock Falls State Park was a quick, easy drive from Country Meadow House, and the views were breathtaking every time. We loved that we could bring our dog along, making each morning walk feel like a family ritual. The trail was gentle enough to do every morning before heading out for a slow day of wine tasting around the lakes.
Falling Waters Boat Tours
The tour with Falling Waters Boat Tours was the highlight of our vacation. Seeing the falls from the water gave us a completely different perspective than the hiking trails. Captain Sarah was knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the lake's history and ecology while we soaked in the summer sun.
Rice Hill- Sledding and Ice Skating
We loved our winter stay at Country Meadow House. We spent the day at Rice Hill with the sleds and snowshoes provided, and the kids never stopped smiling. There was something for everyone—hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, and even ice skating under the winter sky.
